Club Drive - Review 2

Game Description: In Club Drive you play in a 21st century "theme park" were you drive a indestructable vehicle. You can play in one of four lands: (plus lands that you can reach through codes) The Old West, San Francisco, a Living Room(Jeromes Pad) or Velocity Park. In each land you can pick from one of several games: a collest game, a two player tag game or a race. In this game are allowed to play in one of several views (though I only use two of them). Club Drive is a completely original game.

Graphics: Well as you may already know Club Drive is very flawed in this category. This game is a polygon game and they tend to be somewhat blocky and flawed. The car you drive looks almost 1D and could of used a little work. Some of the overhead views (as seen in the replys after you finish a board) look OK but in all the graphics needed more work. RATING: 4

Sound: The tunes during the game are upbeat and you may choose from several of them, they are not too bad. The sound effects are not terrible but they are not amazing on the other hand. Though the flushing of the toilet and the cats effects sound pretty good. All in all not bad, but not great either. RATING: 6

Gameplay: Club Drive plays allright, it does not consist of any major in game problems, though the car feels at times a little too loose. The play is allright, but a little tweeking could not have hurt.RATING: 7.5

Overall: Despite this games many flaws I have found it rather enjoyable. Especially on the two player mode. The sad part though is with some more tweeking this game could have been a great game as the concept is great, but its many flaws bring the game down. If you want a rather fun though flawed two player game this game is worth looking at. I found myself enjoying this, especially on the two player mode and I know others who really enjoyed this also, but you just have to put up with some very flawed graphics. RATING: 6.5
