Game Description: The good folks at Time Warner ported this arcade hit over to the Jaguar. Primal Rage is an 1 on 1 fighter where you pick from one of the seven prehistoric creatures. Your mission in this fighter is to save the humans who worship you from your cruel cousins. Each of the seven fighters that you are allowed to choose from contain a full array of special moves and a finishing move. This game contains a adjustable gore level.

Graphics: The graphics are awesome, they are arcade perfect! They are a pleasure to look at, as they are extremely colorful and detailed. The backrounds are also of very high quality as the images are very detailed also. In a word these graphics are pretty much perfect! RATING: 9.5

Sound: The music and effects are exactly what you would expect from a CD! Once again they are pretty close to being arcade perfect as there are not really any flaws involved with the music or effects. No problems here! RATING: 9.5

Gameplay: Primal Rage plays extremely well and is a pure joy to play! This game plays pretty flawlessly, it plays like a fighter should! Moves are fairly easy to execute. RATING: 9

Overall: Well as you have most likely already figured out, I have found this game to be pretty good! There are not really any major flaws to speak of, with the exception of a little more load time than what I would have liked (the most in any Jag CD game I own), overall the people at Time Warner were involved in one heck of a conversion! Primal Rage is arguably the best fighter on the Jag (alongside with Ultra Vortex and Fight For Life).If you enjoy fighters and enjoyed the arcade game you will enjoy this game because it is pretty much an arcade perfect conversion, Nice Job Time Warner! RATING: 9
